Investor Relations - Associate (remote)

FNK IR is seeking a high energy, intellectually curious, team-oriented and self-directed Investor Relations Associate with at least three (3) years of relevant experience to work remotely.
​
This role will support and help grow interesting and challenging accounts across our business. The candidate should have a solid understanding of how to develop and execute investor relations programs. The ideal candidate must possess strong account management capabilities and superior client relations, presentation, and oral and written communications skills.
​
Experience working with technology, media, internet, consumer, and/or industrials clients is a plus but not mandatory.
​
We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work as a part of a team, who will be expected to provide counsel, strategy and support for FNK IR clients. Working closely with staff at all levels, the right candidate must be a relationship builder and dedicated team player as well as exhibit strong working knowledge of the capital markets.
Primary Responsibilities:

Interacting with client CEOs and CFOs

Assisting with preparation for clients’ quarterly earnings events – logistics and research related to Q&A prep

Research/market intelligence gathering on clients and their industries/peer companies; preparation of reports
- Developing investor and analyst target lists

Interacting with investors and analysts to build awareness of clients, address questions, and arrange meetings/calls with client management teams

Reviewing client websites and recommending enhancements and updates

Managing client IR calendars

Drafting/Editing client news releases

Drafting/Editing client investor presentations

Desired Skills & Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in investor relations, and/or working in sell-side equity research
-
Bachelor’s Degree; Finance degree or classes preferred

Strong analytical and writing skills

Adept at Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (PowerPoint proficiency is essential)

Understanding/interest in finance and the capital markets

Organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task effectively

Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills

Capacity and interest in working in a team environment, while also being proactive and self-motivated, and able to work well independently
